Does Star San have any effect on carbonation when using to sanitize bottles? I am having trouble getting beer to carbonate and am new to the Star San revolution....any help is appreciated. Thanks~!
I am making beer that ranges between 1.060 and 1.088 OG. I am a brewer that has come back after a 10 year absence and am finding out what works and what doesn't again. Is there any way to tell if I have dead yeast? Caps seem to be on tight. they are in the basement and are at about 67* F. The beers that have not carbed are a dead guy clone and a double IPA. I have a wheat that is not bottled and a pale ale that is in primary now. I am trying to avoid the problems of the past with future bottling on the horizon. BTW....there is some carbonation, but it is slight....thanks for the help gang~!
