Anyone wishing to make a stainless racking cane can find a starting point with the number above.
It is about $19 shipped, and although that seems expensive, check out the price of a stainless cane from a vender, not much different. The best part is if you have some buddies or brew club members close by, the fellow will combine shipping; you could get one for about $10. Plus, you make it the length you want!! I only got one since I bought some 3/16" SS rod for carburetor linkages. My tubing is coming along for the ride.
You can bend it with a tube bender, or better yet, tape the ends, fill with sand, and bend. Just passing this on.
