Whats better? I have a nice stainless bazooka tube that can easily be screwed into a 1" coupler that I TIG welded near the bottom. My feeling is however that I will be missing approx. the bottom 1.5 gallons of wort since the tube is perfectly horizontally extended from the coupler instead of having a curved copper pipe going all the way down to the center of a true false bottom. Will continued stirring of the mash assist this and is there a big difference in efficiency?

Thanks!

yes, its a 15.5 keg. I was thinking that the braided tube wouldn't receive enough heat since it has between 1"-2" of clearance from the bottom. Do you think that amount of liquid would not disperse enough heat? Are you concerned with the small mesh actually melting?
