I watched that episode of Foodwishes with chef John yesterday. That looks really good! Maybe pit BBQ that Boston Butt 1st,then use it as chunks in the stew. Slow smoked goodness!

My wife just put a big corned beef in the crock pot with sweet onions,carrots & fresh cabbage. May serve with rice later.
