I'm planning a simple one element brutus 20 style build with a smaller enclosure. I'll be using a 40a SSR with an external heat sink that will be outside of my plastic enclosure.
As I have things planned right now, the PID and SSR are sitting diagonal from each other (think black squares on a checkerboard) with about 1/4" to 1/2" of spacing between them. I have room to runs the lines with out issue because they are diagonal, I'm just not sure if I'll run into any issues with the SSR and heatsink being that close.
Will this be an issue, has anyone run them this close? I see some pretty small boxes with SSRs and pids so I'm thinking I'll be okay.
Thanks,
Josh
