I'm looking to add some capacity to my set up. I'll need to upgrade my mash tun to 20 gal and my boil kettle to 30. I currently use a blichmann 20 for the boil kettle. I'm thinking of getting either the
1) A 30 gal Blichmann and the screen for the twenty.
2) the Ssbrewtech 30 and a screen for the 20.
3) the new ssbrewtech mash tun and a new ss 30 gal boil kettle.

Has anyone brewed with both the hop blocker and the ss kettle that has noticed any difference in performance of blocking trub and hops?

I've never understood the logic behind the trub dam. If you're using it with hops the hop material is going to flow behind the 'dam' and clog the pickup even with a whirlpool.
