I have a unitank 7g v.1 and my temp controller is going out but it's like $250 for the new one and I have to get a new heater for it also as the plugs aren't the same. Anyone have a good suggestion for a heater for a conical like that? I'd rather just get a $30 temp controller on amazon, hook in a heater and chiller on the ends and call it a day. The heater on the unitank still works, but I would need to find a plug with the right size female DC adaptor, which I can't find.
Any suggestions or help on what would be easiest to do? Trying to not spend a ton of money while still having things work well of course.
