All,

Curious if anyone has guidance or instructional videos on how to use the inline oxygenation unit with the 7 gallon SS Brewtech Unitank?

I have one that I use with my 7 gal chronical and unitank. First, throughly sanitize it. Clean and sanitize all the stainless parts and boil the oxygenation stone in water for 15 mins on brew day. Dump it in starsan to cool until it’s needed. I fill my fermenters from the bottom (yeast dump port) so I attach the inline oxygenation kit to that.

I have an oxygen cylinder:

that’s connected to an oxygen regulator:

This is connected to the barb on the SS in-line oxygenator via sanitized vinyl tubing and hose clamps. You’ll probably need some of these to make that connection:

The tee on the SS is connected to a triclamp to quick disconnect fitting that connects to the wort-out disconnect on my Therminator via sanitized silicone tubing.

After I fill my fermenter, I set the regulator to the appropriate flow rate and time the O2 injection. Make sure you have your blowoff hose open and in starsan so you don’t pressurize the fermenter with pure O2!

That is very helpful. Thanks. Any pictures that you could share would also be very helpful
