Just curious if anyone has recently (or remembers from a while ago) upgraded from one of the Bayou SQ14 or similar burners to either the Blichmann burner or the Edelmetall burner from NB. I'm fairly happy with my SQ14 for the 14 gallon boils I do from time to time, but I'd also be interested in anything that will shorten my brew day by heating up water quicker.

I did a search on the forum but didn't see anything that stood out.

Way more BTU's out of the BG14 style burners which will also mean more propane usage. I run the BG14's on low pressure to save some propane, get a nice wide flame and I never felt I needed high pressure propane on these monsters.
