Self inflicted pain... I brewed a pale ale last night and pitched about 9pm. Finished cleaning around 3pm today and moved my primary bucket in the closet to make some room. Bumped the spigot on the wall and it sprung a leak.
Kinda rushed to clean and sanitize my bottling bucket and poured from one to the other. Got a ton of foam during the pour. Anyone else ever do something like this and still wind up with a good beer?
It was fermenting like crazy when I took the lid off, and all the clumps of kraussen looked like swamp water durning the pour. Hoping it's ok since it was only 18 hrs since pitching.
Opened a home brew and trying to rdwhahb... Pretty awful feeling tho. 90 min later and airlock just started showing signs of life.
May the Beer Gods have mercy on my clumsy soul.
