Hey guys, I'm about to do my first home brew.

I decided to choose and easy one first which is a wheat beer. I just have one question it comes with spices in it and the bags to put them in, however what I'm not sure about it says I'm suppose to add them to the pot 15 minutes left am I suppose to just take it out after the boil is over? I know the hops you just pour in the kettle and let them sit, so why can't I do that with the spices? just wandering.

Thanks guys!

You would take them out at the end of the boil. Leaving them in the fermentor may add bitterness from the spices. The bitterness may be more like tannin than the bitter from the hops.
