I'm going to be doing a small extract batch of stout with about four ounces of roast barley. My grain mill is in storage and I was wondering if I could just use a spice grinder.

I wouldn't think so. I'll probably cold steep overnight and do a short boil.You sure can. I doubt it would take much grinding though. Cheers!
