I'm on 10th extract brew and jumped in and have a big "Pliney" extract kit (Morebeer) on deck. I have 2 newer Coopers fermenters and a new Speidel 30l (2 brews so far and HaPpy!).:rockin:
My question is, will I be successful to primary in Speidel for headspace and aggressive fermentation and Coopers secondary for better clarity and best dry hop success? So far I have done single step fermentation with cold crash. I'm not as much concerned with the clarity as I am with best final result. A little worried about long primary with 14oz of hop additions trub possibly adding off flavors etc. I'm using a DIY fermentation chamber with temperature control and will keg. :D
Your massive expertise and experience are MUCH appreciated!

I just finished a big Begian Tripel in my 30l and had very active fermentation...head space is great and I had no worries.

ooops, forgot this:
____________
All MoreBeer extracts
Keg1: B3 Stout - Down to last 10+/- draws and keeps getting better!!
Keg2: American Amber Ale - Meh... still learning... will drink dry!
Keg3: M80 - Full on with orange zest and pulp - Awesome and aging better daily!
On Deck: Pliney Extract (duh, what OP is about and excited!)
Coveted:
Oatmeal Stout
Some Lager or Pils - Advise? Recipes?
2nd go with B3 Stout or a new Porter?
