Spalt(z) hops alpha?

So, I bought three packets of hops from my LHBS in the US. All three are labeled "Spaltz Pellet Hops - German". All three have the same barcode. I believe they were packed at the LHBS.
The problem is that two of the packets say "3.9 AVG ALPHA", but the third says "5.0 AVG ALPHA".

It's my understanding that "Spaltz" is the same as the more common spelling "Spalt" which has about 5.0-5.5 alpha.
So, what's going on here?
Should I be trusting the labels or did my LHBS make a mistake?

I am in Korea now, so I can't go back to the shop and ask.

Different crops of the same hop variety will have different alpha acid content. I'd trust what the package says.
