Looks awesome. I have homemade apple sauce as well. And I made some cornbread today in a cast iron skillet. You put the skillet in the oven to get it up to temp, then take it out and pour the batter in. Then back in the oven until it's done. If you've never made cornbread with bacon fat before, you're cheating yourself!

When we lived in cinci for work,we rented a place that had apple trees out back,& a mulberry tree out front by the gate wall. Made apple butter & mulberry jam! The kids wouldn't eat there toast without it!

I've got nothing against anything fried, but we're talking about a woman who "invented" a burger with donuts as the burger roll. To me, that is what's wrong with America.

A few weeks ago on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" with Seth Meyers, he says "A new statistic shows that 91% of American kids now play video games....The other 9% are TOO FAT TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES!"

I got a good laugh from that.
