Sources for fruit puree

K, i am looking for about 1/4lb of peach puree.. any idea if that can be found at a grocery store? or am i going to have to buy it at a specialty store?

Buy frozen peaches from the grocery store and run them through the food processor while still frozen, that's what I did for my mead.

i guess then i would have to sanitize the processor.. would a blender work?

A blender would work just fine.

If you're adding to secondary, you are adding to alcohol. When I'm adding to secondary don't bother sanitizing the food processor. Frozen fruit is going to be sanitized anyway...

k, so i transferred over some of the beer to kegs tonight, and added some fruit to a 1/2 gallon.. wow does it look good...



question: should i be tapping down the fruit to the bottom? It seems to want to stay at the top of the beer...

also, when i go to carb this up in a bottle, is there anything special i need to look out for? thanks!
