Thankfully, it (usually) doesn't get stuck in my head, but if I want to be absolutely dog cussed by my sister, I can just start singing (or even humming) a few bars of :

It will get stuck in her head to the point that it will be there for days. Last time I heard it on the radio, I called her immediately, had it turned down, and told her to hold on. Cut on speaker phone and cranked it. Took her about 10 seconds, but then I hear "Oh, oh no, god no, you mother $#@@#$, *&*^ you." and then she hung up. You know, its the little things in life you have to learn to appreciate.

When not in the Christmas season - So Happy Together...by The Turtles..

Wouldn't it be Nice.

Not sure, but I think it's the Beach Boys.

My mind is on shuffle today, though, so very likely it will change in the next 5 minutes.

Yeah,it's beach boys. Johnny Paycheck's "take this job & shove it!" has been in my head about a week now. I'd like to see the movie again.

Not quite a whole song, but any time someone mentions songs stuck in their heads I immediately hear the bass line from Billie Jean in my head... I don't even really like Michael Jackson's music...

Ever since this damn hacker crap started a week ago last Saturday,Black Sabbath's TV Crimes from Dehumanizer is stuck in my head.
...Scream another lulaby!
Jack be nimble,Jack be slick,
take the cash & get out quick!
Slow & steady,so much time,
to commit another TV crime,
TV Crimes!
Not to mention,Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare.
A nocturnal vacation,
uneccessary sedation,
gonna make you feel,
you belong....here! :drunk:

Its a Small World After All.

The cure for almost any song that gets stuck in your head. Of course, some times the cure is worse than the affliction.

Sweet baby blue by Badfinger... ever since the Breaking Bad finale. The perfect ending.

I love that song but it rarely gets airplay. Badfinger has so many great songs, kind of Beatleish, in fact I think they had something to do with them.

Manamana by the Muppets. If you are not aware of this one look it up on You Tube. My grandson loves it. I have nightmares to it!

Just reading the title of that one and now it is playing in my head.

Quick, think of something else to get it out of my head.

it's a world of laughter, a world or tears
its a world of hopes, its a world of fear
theres so much that we share
that its time we're aware
its a small world after all

CHORUS:
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small, small world

There is just one moon and one golden sun
And a smile means friendship to everyone.
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small small world

Its a small world.. it does nossing.

Basketball Jones lately. Good ol' Tyrone Shoelaces! I posted it as home brew Jones just for a goof...:mug:

Huh. I've heard the song before; can't remember where, but I never knew it was a cartoon and had a character to go along with it.

I might have to look into this some more.

Here's the cartoon version of basaball Jones,Cheech-n-Chong,1975. it was used between movies at the drive ins;

I have a 2yr old so I almost always have some terrible children's song stuck in my head. Thomas & Friends, Super Why, Elmo's World, etc. Just recently my wife found a short youtube clip of Elmo singing a song about brushing teeth. It gets my son wanting to brush his teeth, so it works well.... but that song very well may drive me insane. It burrows in your head and sets up camp. HATE THAT F%$&ING SONG!!!!

I truly hate it when a truly awful song gets stuck in my head for no other reason than I've heard it recently. Right now I am alternating between Perfume and Are You Gonna Stay The Night. That might be more of a statement about the radio station I listen to, but in Groton, CT it's about the best I can do without totally raping my cell phone's data bill.

Listening to just about any radio station is musical suicide, but in keeping with the theme of the thread, Europe - The Final Countdown has to be the worst song ever.
