something weird in my bottled beer

So I cracked open a second bottle of my english IPA. 1st one was amazing second one had something weird looking floating at the top. Looked like a black string was kinda thick I took it out and broke it with my finger and looked kinda like powder in it. Also the beer seemed crazy carbonated. The beer tasted fine. Just curious as to what this could be I didn't see this in any of my other bottles. Any ideas would be great. Thanks guys

What was the ingredients list? Have you tried other bottles? Were they over carbd as well?

Could very well have been an infection with that one particular bottle.

I was thinking the same I still drank the beer after pouring out that thing and it tasted perfectly fine...just looked strange I guess. The beer was way to carbonated too
