Here is what I did.
CVS had Azinzona Ice Tea on sale So I bought 5 gal. of Arnold Palmer.
Boiled 1 gal of tea with 1 lb of corn sugar and 1 lb of lite brown sugar. Then into the fermentor with the rest of the tea and a pack of red star champange yeast. Let it sit for 3 weeks or so. It started fermenting in about 6 hours or so and has been bubbling like crazy ever since. What I forgot to do is take a sg reading.
Just being lazy. Today I took a reading and a taste. I got 1.011 and it tasted dammmmmm Good. I thought i would have to back sweeten it, but i dont. I haven't kegged or bottled any yet or drank enough to find out how potent it is. (becuase my dumb a#$ didn't take an original gravity). :rockin:

Has any one ever tried this. The whole batch cost me about $15 :)

Ok so I finally kegged the batch and drank a 22 oz (or so) glass. And i am a little happy.
It was very tasty. It doesnt really taste like tea but tasty. I would say it is a great drink for the wife or girl friend or both. A nice summer drink. I cant wait to drink more. I think for 15 bucks it cant be beat.
