Sniffing Airlocks

120+ batches deep, I still sniff. I've been known to be a dork at times, though...

Been brewing over 10 years and still a sniffer.

I can't say I actively sniff, but I do visit my beers every day when I'm in town. I think the yeast know, like when you read to a plant or play it music. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I make her check in on them at least a couple of times a week when I'm traveling, so they don't get too lonely.

Do they get their own blankets? I haven't gone to that extreme....yet.

Of course--those cheap fleece blankets, like the ones the airlines give you on flights...I've got about eight of them for just that purpose.

I'm working up the nerve to ask my wife to crochet a custom-fit fermenter cozy.
