Smoked Oatmeal Licorice Stout

I am brewing this beer right now and was wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experience with he licorice.

Haven't used it myself, but in general a flavor is a flavor. What I mean by that is how well that flavor plays with the other flavors is what is important. Is this a kit you are using or your own invention?
