Good afternoon all, I have a question that someone with kegging experience may be able to help. I have purchased my first keg, and it has a very strange smell inside. I am not sure what it is, but it is very sweet smelling. I cleaned and cleaned with PBW, Oxyclean, sanatized with starsans etc...I am unable to get the smell out.

Can anyone help me with what to use to get the smell out of the keg?

Thank you for your time and help.

I'm guessing you're smelling the soda that once resided in there. The rubber o-rings will hold that smell. I got a keg once that was the same as yours. I changed out all of the rubber and it was fine after that.
