For the sink...you might want to think about having it "under" the bar like they do at real bars.

Well it's not really under...semi under but ya know what I mean.
 
The great thing is my garage already has a sink with pluming (hot and cold) and gas. I can do just about anything I want in there. Trouble is, I don't want to make everything too permanant because I live in my dad rental. So if I move out, I want to be able to take some stuff with me.

Not really, it works out great, most of the garage facelift is being covered my dad (drywall, insulation, new floor, etc). I have plans for a portable bar that is about 96’’x42’’. All the cabinets will be easily removable from the walls, including the bar back. So, I don’t think it’s going to be an issue.
