Got a Slushee making cup, this thing is awesome!!!! So far i've made a mountain dew slushee and some orange creamsicle thingamajig. It's a lot of fun, but i only make like 1 a day.

Anyway, i'm capable of making just about anything into a slushee except things with "artifical sweeteners" which i don't quite get because i heard they stopped using real sugar in soda's awhile back unless you have a throwback, but they seem to work fine.

i haven't quite gotten started on alcoholic combinations but apparently this thing will work on beer. Now i'm a little put-off by the idea but.. it's possible...

So i was wondering what you guys thought would turn into a good beer slush :) or is this sort of thing blasphemy talk?

I've always liked a chocolate stout poured over coffee ice cream for a beer float. I'm not too sure about a slush though.

I've always found slushees to be "refreshing" (because they're cold) but lacking (either too sweet, or not enough flavor, or....).

I'm thinking maybe an imperial IPA might be interesting.

I'd use a milk stout. I love Forrest's recipe over at AHS. I don't want to post since he sells it in a kit.

They are referring to diet beverages, corn sugar is sugar. Nothing artificial about it.

I couldn't say, got mine online. Sounds like they carry them in stores sometimes though. It's a big bulky cup though you won't want a knock off, apparently they can suck.

Thanks for the tips guys. i'll be sure to try them! My first thought was a bud or something.. just in case it went horribly wrong it wouldn't feel like i lost anything.. but i just don't want to buy one.
