I'm bottling my saison today and want to save some of the yeast for another batch next week. If I just put the slurry in a pint jar will it still be good next weekend.
The yeast is 3711 and has been in primary for 5 weeks now.
 
Will be fine. Keep in the fridge until you use it. I keep slurry for months, though will wash and make a starter if I leave it that long. After a week I just straight pitch a pint of slurry without a starter.

I´m about to bottle my batch of Baltic Porter ABV 8,5% made with WLP001 next week and thought i would try washing yeast for the first time. Hope to find the time for two more batches this year before it gets too cold in my garage.

Mr.Malty tells me to use 446ml of slurry for a 5 gallon batch of 1.072, but there is no mentioning of using a starter. From what i understand you always make a starter when repitchin slurry, correct?

No, if you are pitching a good amount of fresh slurry, there is no need to make a starter. Make a starter if you are concerned about the health/vitality of the yeast, or the amount of yeast cells.
