I don't really have a question. Just sharing the fact that, had I used the usual 2-3 days in a row with same gravity reading guideline, I'd have thought this mead was done fermenting a long time ago! Note each vertical line is a week.

(Note I didn't put the Tilt in until the mead was around 1.044, just becuase until then it was being used for another brew).

Great observation.

My experience has at times been similar. I have defaulted to a week vs. a few days to determine if "done" and either keg or wait 90 to 120 days post yeast pitch before bottling.
