So...Im a freaking idiot. I was trimming some more of the plastic around my keezer door for a slightly better seal (the wood underneath is a 1/16th too thick).
When coming across the top some of my slow and steady faded into QUICK AND SLASHY. I nicked the door seal. I had been cutting away from the seal and going slow shallow cuts. Stupidity overtook me.
Im praying I don't need to buy a new one, I can't imagine they're cheap. I have yet to find a new gasket online. The freezer is a Fridgidaire fffh20f2qw.
It's not all the way to the side of the door, so I'm hoping it can be saved.
My plan is to 'fix' the tear by putting some E-6000 glue on the tear as it's flexible.
Any thoughts before I do something I can't take back?
I have yet to turn the fridge on and see if condensation or air leaks out.
When closing the door it DOES make the vacuum suck to close the gasket around the sides.
