hopefully i will get to start skeeter pee this week or towards the weekend, but im finding it difficult finding some of the chemicals on UK sites, can someone advise to what else i could use instead or point me in the direction of where i can get these. im assuming sparkaloid is a fining agent!!

Potassium metabisulfite (Kmeta)

Potassium sorbate (sorbate)

available here

i have ordered from them and they were good, the only ones who didn't want my first born to send a tiny bottle to holland. they don't have sparkalloid but have many similar fining agents. for example turbo-klar works great for clearing skeeter pee.
potassium metabisulphite and potassium sorbate are under wine supplies

just out of curiousity, would potassium sorbate work on its own? Potassium metabisulphate is quite expensive at £10 a tub

cheers! it looks like the orange used up all their goals in a certain recent friendly though... as for sorbate without sulfite, it isn't recommended as far as i know, but never tried it myself. you need such a tiny amount of potassium metabisulfite, shame if you couldn't just pinch a few grams off someone. what about ordering as campden tablets such as here, convenient as they are pre-measured, £2.
