Single tier brew stand burners losing flame

I have built a single tier stand and yesterday was the first run on it. Checked for leaks and individually each burner and they work well. The problem I am having is when I open up another burner for use. The flame on the one in progress drops and extinguishes. Any suggestions on what may be happening? Are you using propane or natural gas? If you relight the extinguished flame, does it relight and burn strong with both burners? Do you have an fittings that might restrict the flow enough so that it cannot supply two burners?
