Simple Ingredients Sheet

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a simple list of different ingredients and what the use is for? I go through website after website but I’ll lose track of the type of ingredient and uses. Didn’t know if there was a list already out there.

Example:

XXX Grains - used for darkening and flavor. Carmel flavoring. Non-fermentable.
YYY Hops - Citrus Flavor - use in IPAs, etc...
ZZZ additive - used for breaking sugar chains down.

There's tons of grain and hops lists on the interwebs with characteristics of what they do. Grab the info you want/find useful and put it into an excel spreadsheet or something. I have an excel spreadsheet that's my brewing log but has grown to about 20 tabs because it's where I dump any useful information related to brewing I come across

Yeah, that’s what I was going to do but I was thinking before I do all that, does it already exist...
