Hi guys!

So, I'm looking forward to my third brew (have done an APA and an amber ale), and was thinking it's time to get to the good stuff - some juicy, bitter IPA.

As I'm pretty new to brewing, I've considered NB's Dead Ringer, but I'm not sure it'll turn out quite juicy as I'd like (I'm not from the states, and cannot access Two Hearted ale)...

Do you guys have any simple recipes that would get my juicy thirst quenched? [emoji2]

Thanks!

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/dogfish-head-60-minute-clone-ag-extract.25709/ is a good recipe from @Yooper which is already converted into extract.

You can find lots of recipes in the homebrewtalk.com recipe database. Look under ales and then use the pulldown menu at the top to select what style you're looking for. Unfortunately, you won't find a ton of extract recipes. Do you use Beersmith or other recipe software? Its relatively easy to convert all-grain to extract if you do. If you'd like some help with that, let me know.

And congrats on your first two brews!

This is one of my IPA recipes https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/...er-medal-2013-door-county-competition.417571/ that won a medal at a competition a few years ago. To convert it to extract, you would exchange the grain bill for enough extract to reach the original gravity and steep a half pound of caramel 60L. It won't be exactly the same, there are other adjustment that could be made regarding isomerization and other stuff, but subbing malt extract for grain malt gets you to about the right place.
