We went to the Brewery and took a tour yesterday. They said that Monday SIerra Nevada will be available in a can. It will be available locally at first and then spread out to other distributors.

They aren't going to quit bottling. They are going to offer both.
Are you sure? It would seem to me to be a perfect time to can everything.

Hey Dan.. were you back down at RR for more Younger on Friday? I saw a guy with that same shirt while I was in line.. thank goodness it was a short line.
Do you like it in the can?
I believe it will bring down the price, as it is cheaper to buy aluminum, do the canning, and to ship cans. They weigh less.
Shouldn't this be moved to a **** forum?
Saw this at their booth on Friday night @ the opening event for SF Beer Week.

And you should tell the guys in the kitchen to stop putting so much salt on everything! If not, you should go there and try their beer. Some of it is awesome!
i wonder if they will do 30packs
I do work at Elevation 66, just an apprentice so I mostly do cellar work. Get to brew as well, though that is usually just the head brewer. I've helped come up with the recipe for a couple of the one-off's we've done as well.
There are one or two guys who I think over salt, 2/3 of the time I eat there it's salted perfectly, other 1/3 it's too salty. I really like the food though.
I like the menu a lot. Someone in that kitchen has great creative sense, for sure. And like I said, the beer there gave me reason to visit El Cerrito after dark, something I never thought possible. You should be proud--and I'm sure you are--of what's happening there. I wish you guys all the luck in the world and, as a repeat customer, I don't mind saying that I think the future is very, very bright!
