Hi all,

If I put a shut off valve on my beer line would that cause any issues? My goal is to use this and lock the kegerator door instead of using a tap lock.

More stuff to clean and sanitize, if that's an issue for you. Otherwise, not really. But chrome plated brass probably isn't the best choice. Stainless Steel would be better.
 
^ note that this duotight valve fits 9.5mm OD tubing, i.e. EVABarrier tubing, and won't really work with anything else.
