I’m definitely in kindergarten but there’s improvement. I use Microsoft Coplay which is free, at least so far. There’s iterative process…. Don’t expect AI to do text.
I use onlinelabels.com. They have a bunch of different label sizes and paper materials to choose from. Once you buy their labels they give you access to their label editing software (maestro label design) and all you have to do is select the labels you bought from them and then you get that template to start designing.Just paged through a few of these labels and you guys are rock stars. Awesome stuff. What platform do you use to create these in? At the moment, I just do tap handles (most of my brews dont last long enough to bottle) but I also do meads, that take 6 months to a year to condition and I bottle those. Would love to get creative with some great labels or better looking tap handle inserts, but compared to these, mine look like a kindergartener did them. I am doing mine in powerpoint at the moment and printing on a color laser printer, then cutting to size to fit the insert (for a tap handle). Does the job, but you all have inspired me.
So these are adhesive backed labels? How hard are they to remove? Thanks.I use onlinelabels.com. They have a bunch of different label sizes and paper materials to choose from. The program isn’t too advanced, kinda like a glorified Microsoft paint software so I’ll use photoshop and Canva to crop and edit the images and save them as jpegs and then I’ll upload the jpeg images in maestro to finish the label and print. They look pretty good View attachment 867398
Yes, adhesive. Really easy to remove. If you do an oxiclean soak or use hot hot water they will come right offSo these are adhesive backed labels? How hard are they to remove? Thanks.
Good to know. Thanks!Yes, adhesive. Really easy to remove. If you do an oxiclean soak or use hot hot water they will come right off
Mine are 3.5” x 4” rectangular and I do waterproof matte inkjet paper. If you have a laser jet they have that paper tooWhat size(s) are your labels. I have made a few in MS Paint, etc but basically just a "logo" and not a label. What size is preferred for a bottle? Thanks!
I like that!
I'm a simple man; I see a reference to Procul Harum, I upvote. Great work on these labels, the London Porker illustration is really good.I just started brewing. My first beer, in Jan this year, a London Porter

My wife drew the art, she's very talented.
My second beer, a Pale ale that I screwed up filtering and was VERY cloudy when I bottled it

A pun on 'whiter shade of pale'. Made using a paid ChatGPT4 license.
3rd brew was bottled 2 weeks ago and I wanted to wait until I got carbonation, to see if it was good enough to deserve a label. 4th is currently in the fermenter. Need to make my labels for both of them. I'm actually thinking to go ultra-simplistic, Kernel Brewery style, if anyone knows them.
The label's nice, but I love the photo!
Thank you!The label's nice, but I love the photo!
I’ve brewed beers where I’ve added 5 mg of thc but using a measured out tincture that I dosed the bottles before filling them from the keg. I mean I’m sure thc is great for ptsd especially with sleep. It’s great for a lot of things even just relaxingLabels from my best buddy from a book he bought. Anyone else besides this idiot brewing cannabis beer? He's a vet (Nam) and swears by it for his PTSD .

I can't believe I'm the one who taught this miscreant how to brew. I gave him some old plastic buckets with grommets and some old airlocks etc. I had laying around and some recipes I xeroxed from Palmers Book "How to Brew" (one of my favorite resources) and let him watch/help me with a few batches of ale to get him started.
Well then he bought this book insuring that mayhem and hilarity ensued

OMG he's been the Cheech and Chong of beer ever since. I will not drink a beer at his house without asking, "Is this that freaking marijuana brew or it is a normal beer?" It's keeping him off the streets at any rate so that's got to be a good thing. He does seem alot calmer and more laid back since starting this. He hasn't knocked anyone out for the longest time and his temper seems much better.
Hmmm idk how much thc he’ll extract then. Thc is not beer water soluble so it wouldn’t extract during boiling as the boil won’t be hot enough to get the cannabis to decarboxulate and convert the THC-A to THC. Helll get a lot of cbd, if the plants he grows has a decent percentage of it, but that’s it. It will def be good for sleeping though, just not very psychoactiveWhat he did was throw the dried harvest waste ( about 1/2 pound of mostly fan leaves/ a little bit of smaller leaves trimmed from the flowers) into a mesh bag. He says he did 4 , one hour long soaks in lukewarm water (about 100F) , gently squeezing out and discarding the water each time to remove any water soluble things (chlorophyl, sugars etc.) He said that water looked like coffee the first couple soaks. Then he throws the bag into the fermenter (he makes 6 gallon batches) about 3 days prior to bottling. I always thought THC was not soluble in water but he says the alcohol content of the beer helps get it into solution, thats why he waits right before bottling to add it.
He grows this stuff (for his own use only) and previously infused the harvest waste into butter and threw the rest away. He had more waste than he could use. He's real happy now because he can use it all. I never drank one, but he swears he can feel it just drinking one and will sometimes drink 2 or more if his PTSD is especially bad.
Better than having to smell it, I guess. It’s not anything now like it was in the 70s and unfortunately the stench is everywhere.I will not drink a beer at his house without asking, "Is this that freaking marijuana brew or it is a normal beer?"
Walmart parking lots are the worse. I feel like anytime I walk through there or talk to an employee I get a contact highBetter than having to smell it, I guess. It’s not anything now like it was in the 70s and unfortunately the stench is everywhere
