I'm going to make a partial mash blonde ale using:
3KG Maris Otter Pale Malt
500g Extra Light Malt Extract
Willamette Hops
US05 yeast
I'm aiming for 21 litres but only have the capacity for boiling 15 litres (pre-boil. Post boil for me is 13.5 litres).
Should I add the extract into my pot 15 minutes before the end and top up with cold water in my fermentor, or should I bring 7.5 litres of water to the boil and boil the extract for 15 minutes in a separate pot?
