Hey guys, mixed up my starter with wyeast (don't use liquid yeast much) and used what I now see is a more empiric formula for making a starter. I boiled 2 cups of water and added (a little more then) 1/2 cup of DME. I am making a rye IPA and my orig gravity ~1.070....if I am using Mr. Malty correctly I think I should have at least 1 liter of water...but I only have a 1 liter flask...anyone have any insight?

Thanks
Adam

Adam, try this calculator, I like this on much better: http://www.yeastcalc.com/

If you get one of those gallon jugs at your local HB store, you can do a two-step two liter starter that will get you up where you need to be (254B) with occasional stirring.
