should gravity drop during clearing stage?

I hit my FG of 1.012 - 1.015 in the primary fermenter (1.014), and let it sit in a clearing tank for 16 days and bottled on saturday. My gravity again was exactly 1.014. I would have thought there would be some change to it, but there wasn't any. Is this normal?

Absolutely normal. Depending on when you rack, the gravity will sometimes drop a little in the secondary (clearing tank), sometimes not.

Not always but sometimes by maybe 1 or 2 points.

The clearing/dropping is from suspended particulate so does not effect gravity.
