Hello all,

It's been about a year since i brewed anything.
I made three batches of honey mead, and after I started making the second one I realized I hadn't checked the temperature of my yeast starter (I used dry yeast)on my first one before I pitched it. I know it was colder than the rest, just worried I may have shocked it.

Made it Saturday night. I just checked and the second and third are bubbling about every 4-5 seconds, but the first is at least 17-20 sec apart. The fact that it's bubbling at all means I'm alright yea?! I really don't want to have to make it over!

Sorry for lack of terminology, I'm just getting back into it! Lol

If you post this in the mead section you will probably get better responses.
