This is my first time coming up with a recipe on my own. I haven't found too many higher rated low abv IPA recipes that sound like something I would like. That being said, any critiques from some seasoned pros or anyone else that has any good suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My inspiration was Duclaw's Oz.

Est FG: 1.008
Fermentation: Ale, Two Stage
ABV: 4.5%

Ingredients Amount Name Type #
5 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM)
1 lbs Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM)

0.25 oz Chinook [13.0%] - Boil 60 min
0.25 oz Galena [12.5%] - Boil 60 min
0.25 oz Simcoe [13.0%] - Boil 60 min
1.00 Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min)
0.75 oz Citra [12.0%] - Boil 10 min
1.0 oz Citra [12.0%] - Boil 1 min

1.0 oz Citra [12.0%] - Dry Hop 7 days
1.0 oz Simcoe [13.0%] - Dry Hop 7 days

I would reduce the Carapils if you want a light body, 1 lb seems like way too much if you want to keep it light feeling. I would shift 1/2 lb into the Pale malt, or else you F.G will go up a bit with the unfermentable dextrins contained in the Carapils. Your session would end up a little lighter then you expected Im thinking. my $0.02
