Hi,
I´m Felix, 34, still pretty new to the homebrewing business. Started on christmas last year after my mother gave me a book about homebrewing. Until then, I didn´t even know you could make "real" beer at home except for those extract kits.
I´m also active in the main german homebrew forum which is a really fine one but...just the sheer amount of hombrewers here (224,000 against just 7000 members ) put out waaay more information than in the smallish German version, so I decided to join homebrewtalk, too.
I´m mostly brewing mild to medium stuff, Pilsener, Vienna Lagers, Pale Ales (40 IBUs max). I´m not really into strong ales or IPAs because I like to enjoy a couple of pints without going into a coma
I have some pictures, nothing fancy. 10 gallon kettles, induction hob, electric stirrer. I just built a kegerator yesterday! Couldn´t stand the bottling anymore.
Happy brewing or as we say "Gut Sud!"
Felix
