Hey everyone,
I'm making a cherry wheat. I first brewed a wheat beer as a base, then I am going to add cherry juice to secondary. The cherry juice will ferment in secondary so here is a dumb guy's question for all you smart brewers.
As you can see my wheat base finished at 1.004 with a SG of 1.060 making the base 7.4 abv. So when I add cherry juice it will ferment but it will also increase the final gravity throwing off my final abv on BeerSmith (likely the abv will decrease on BeerSmith, even though in theory, it should increase slightly). My question is, how do I calculate abv based on the addition of the fermented cherry juice?
Thanks for any input
Jeff
