I'm looking for some suggestions on a secondary container I can mature lager in. I am invested in SSBrewTech and have the glycol system. I want to be able to do a long lagering maturation without tying up my fermenter. I have a beer fridge but it is at 40. I could keg the beer and just store it in the fridge, but I was looking to do near freezing temp for a couple of months. Id like to use my glycol system.

Any suggestions?

How about the ssbrewtech bright tank? Or for that matter a second fermenter? Personally I have 2 fermenters for that purpose and if I decide I want to brew something else I rack to kegs and put it in the kegerator to lager. I keep my kegerator at 35* so its perfect. I like my beer really cold anyway.

Short of a brite tank or another conical. It will require imagination!

Stainless brewing will make a coil to your specs. You might be able to make a coil that attaches to a corny lid and then slide it in and lager in a corny keg. You could wrap the keg in reflectex and put it in a water cooler. I'm not sure about condensation. That could be a pain. Maybe a bottom drain and some sort of lid to keep open access to air limited.

New chest freezers are really cheap. You can ferment in them and then cold crash and cold lager in them as well. You can cold crash a different beer while lagering. You can use it as an actual freezer if you need to.
I can understand why you would want to use a glycol setup you already have. But my freezer is one of the best things I've acquired for brewing.
Note that if you use the fast lager method, you don't really need to lager for a long time.
