Pine Box and Stumbling Monk for beer. Both on the Hill and close to each other. Chuck's CD will get BCBS but will likely be limit 1 on all bottles. You can find it by the case at some Safeways, though.

stumbling monk does not exist.... stahp it.

Libbey took me to the Monk on my third day in Seattle back in 2015. Good times although it did feel like I was in someone’s sketchy ground floor apartment.

ION current batch of HM Engrailed is right up my street. 4%, soft, hoppy, could nail an entire conditioning tank of it. Gorgeous.

Nothing to add here except a few years ago I was in town for a wedding staying in Capitol Hill and stopped by Stumbling Monk just to check it out and noticed they had Oerbier Special Reserva on their chalkboard for in-house bottles. I of course ordered one by name and the bartender replied "which vintage?" Turns out they had a full vertical going back almost 10 years. Made for a fun trip.

Masonry Fremont soft openings coming up! I will be at the friends and family event on Saturday, looks like there is an "industry" soft opening on Tuesday the 21st.

That would be nice. My in-laws from Omaha will be with us over Thanksgiving, meaning the wife and I will get a date night while they watch the kiddo. Probably going to Joule and could pop in for a drink.

Anyone had that Anchorage Masonry tribute IPA yet? Meant to be staying off the beer at the moment but would grab a four-pack for the holiday if it's worth the price of admission.

I picked up a four pack and had a (can) pour at The Masonry. If you like Mosaic, the aroma is pretty excellent. At ~6.5abv, it's on the lighter, more crushable side–as opposed to the thick OJ of a lot of the DDH DIPAs. Tasty stuff, I think. Not worth the $8/can Tavour is charging, but at $19+tax for four, it's (sadly) not much more expensive than some other things that have hit the shelves lately, and better than most.

All that said, I'm not entirely sure if they're selling any to go anymore.
