Great pic, no doubt, but I'm pissed AF that he got a whole damn case on Saturday. #FOMO

What if I told you I used MS Paint and only 1 is real!

My brother lives in Seattle and is looking for some styro shippers to send 18 bottles (either 3x 6-shippers or 1x 12-shipper + 1x 6-shipper). He's gone to Total Wine, Bevmo and two other places with no luck, and I haven't come up with anywhere via Google search other than places that will ship them to him.

Do any of you locals know somewhere near his area that sells them? His neighborhood is called Broadview, and he works at UW.

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide!

The only place I've been able to find them consistently is at the U-Haul in Shoreline (on 99). Just call 'em ahead of time to be sure what they have.

I've also noticed that some Total Wines have styro shippers and others don't (e.g., Northgate doesn't but the TW down near IKEA does, or at least did on my past visits...). I will say, the shippers I've managed to get from TW are far superior to the ones from U-Haul. Been using some of them for years and many cross-country trips.

Order 4-6 shippers from Uline. Free shipping and arrives in 1 or 2 days depending on what time of day/week you order.

Got my Floodland Oakworks membership. I is a happy boy.

Member numbers started at #1000, sounds like there's room for maybe 200 people?

This time next month I'll be a Seattle resident, sounds like I'm picking a bad time in beer to head out. Also the smoke/nuclear missile thing.

The Midnight Still variants, Guava Gin Table, and Fremont barleywines have made it a shitlord's paradise. Hopefully the smoke will be gone after this weekend. As for the nuclear missile thing...

I think there is actually too much. We need a separate trading forum just for Holy Mountain/Bottle Logic.

I was just kidding. Old WA beer meme.

Fresh hop season is just around the corner so I'm happily ignoring all the big barrel aged beers that being hunted by truck chasers at the moment.

Also, got to stop by Floodland yesterday for a quick peek. The space is awesome and the two young beers I got try (raspberry sour and a saison with golden raspberries) are developing nicely.

Man, I LOVE Washington shelf beers! Happy to have the hype machine behind other things given the quality that is still so easily available. Every time I come home I expect the good stuff to be less available and it hasn't happened yet.

Got plenty of that when I was up in June. :)

I've been able to get 3 4-packs this year (two in June, one in July) and haven't seen it since. Pretty crazy how much people go insane for juice and just buy it by the ******* case. I was at my Whole Foods the other day and one of the beer guys said two people came in and bought all six cases they had got that morning. It's normally my go-to Summer shelf beer. Spread the ******* love people.

Speaking of juice, very happy to see Matchless' Voss in cans. I loved that beer on draft a couple months ago.

Someone bought six CASES? or six 4 packs? **** that person. and **** WF for allowing it.

3-Way has been a pain in the ass get this year, but everything else is pretty normal.
Been pretty easy to get here. Definitely hasn't been as easy to get as previous releases, but it was super simple to get every time they canned a new batch.

Two people bought up six cases, not sure the exact split. Ever since Joel left the beer section at WF has gone downhill.

Back in June I saw that the BevMo in Tukwila was showing some 3-Way in stock online, so I went over and grabbed two four-packs. As I was taking it to the register the employee was all "Oh, are you the guy who called asking about the 3-Way?" I wasn't that guy, but he must have been the person behind me in line who bought the rest of their stock and had it rolled out to his car on a dolly.

Seriously, juice makes people act in strange ways.

You backpacking up here? I'm going out this weekend as well.
Backpacking + packrafting. Starting north fork of quinault river and paddling out the queets river to almost the Pacific.

On a beer related note, the two beers fresh hop was very enjoyable. A bit of a throwback nw IPA with all the centennial, but in a good way.

Slow Boat Tavern selling tickets for Zwanze Day tomorrow. My first time doing Zwanze up here; how bad does it get?
