My sister has formally requested I brew her favorite beer for her birthday in July. Unfortunately, I've never had it and she doesn't remember its name. All she remembers is that it was something she tasted at a tour of the Sam Adams brewery. It was a banana and maple ale. I asked if it had banana flavors, a la weizen, but she thought it had real bananas in it. She remembers nothing other than that. No colors, or ABV, or anything.
My challenge to you, Internet, I this: what is this beer? If I get some rating notes or what-not, I can make a stab at brewing it. If nothing else, I can throw some bananas and syrup into the secondary of a brown or wheat.
