I put a message on freecycle yesterday asking for bottles and have already got a msg back from a bloke saying he has 4 doz grolsch bottles, longnecks (some non-twist) and other various stuff that I can have. How chuffed am I, very!

yea, i did the same thing but on craigs list, and they asked me how much i would pay them, when clearly it said i wanted free bottles. i am not hurting enough to pay for bottles right now, but damn, everyones trying to make a profit.

i guess i just wanted free bottles just in case i ran out. i expect to be brewing more than i drink hopefully!

...ask in your local pub for bottles, collect from friends, goto recycling depots (I have heard that you maybe able to collect grolsch bottles there but don't hold me to that). Pity grolsch tastes so bad or collecting these bottles would not be a problem!
