I brewed an AHS Warsteiner clone kit a week ago. After a failed attempt to keep the temperature within lager range due to lack of space and ice , I decided to just give up and let it ferment at room temp.

Yesterday I opened it up to take a hydro reading and it smelled just like the real thing. I took a few sips of the sample and though it had kind of a sharp taste to it (which I'm sure will fade in a few weeks), It tasted pretty good. I was really surprised.
