I know someone that has a home health care business and I did some computer work for them recently. I simply asked and scored a great oxygen setup today. "D" aluminum cylinder and an adjustable regulator from 0.25L/min to 8L/min., free. He said when that the O2 runs out, bring it back and he'd give me another cylinder...wonder how long it will take to use 415 liters of O2 for wort aeration?

Can't wait for my next boil so I can use it and see how much faster the ferment kicks off.

Nice!! Always a good thing when we get free gear, no more dead arm from shaking carboys and buckets for you :p

I've used a similar cylinder and i left it running on the back porch for about 6 hours at med-low and i still have half my pressure left lol, so I guess 90 seconds per batch is nothing

Yea, calculated out, the cylinder chart shows 415L of O2 in there, at 2L/min that's 207.5 mins of O2 and at 90s per "batch" that's 138 batches. I think it will be a while before I need a refill.
