Checked around this area, can't find any. I was ready to drive up to Boca and check the total wine but I stumbled across some Guinness Foreign Export (4pack) and grabbed it. My hopslam search is done unless I bump into it.

My buddy went on an hour long mission from NY to PA to get some of this. I tried it last night and I can say that its definitely near the top of the list when it comes to double IPA's. Its up there with Pliny. I'm surprised they don't make it a year long beer but then again maybe its supply and demand.

I think bells likes to make people anticipate their beers like hopslam and oberon. People in MI and I'm sure other places freak out when both are released each year. People stockpile it and go crazy.

FYI - Just heard that Darek Zomonski with Bells Brewing will be at corks & kegs this friday pouring bells lineup including some hopslam! :mug:

They are definitely making smart business moves, and they do deliver!! They make some great beer! I've never had a brew of Bell's that I didn't like! And HopSlam tips the scale of one of the best DIPAs around! They make it way too easy to drink way too many 10% beers!

Let's see...I've seen six packs of hopslam for anywheres of $13.99 to $16.99 and the 1.32 gal mini keg for $34.99. And damn its good this year. Definitely a plus for living in Northern Michigan...

Oh, and by the way, its EVERYWHERE up here!!! Michigan is truly a great beer state!

Picked up a sixer this week of Hop Slam and I trading it for some Pliny.

Well the tasting went well. Hopslam was certainly the high point but I was pretty impressed with the batch 10,000. 100 different malts and 60 types of hops. Right tasty.

I have 4 left out of a sixer of 10,000, I'm giving it some time it was a bit overwhelming unfortunately to my undeveloped plate.

I also picked up a couple of epic brewing's Hopulent. I'll try those tonight. Never had em before.

Same. It was a lot better on tap though. I'll save my 5 bottles for a later date. I still have 4 batch 9000 left.

My Hopslam Mini keg will be consumed tomorrow for the super bowl. :ban:

Ok, hopulent was pretty good, heavy on pine and citrus. To say there was sediment in the bottle is a huge understatement, it was a 1/4 inch thick yeast cake. Came out the bottle in chunks!

I had a sixer of Hopslam but am down to three. Also scored four bombers of Hoptimum yesterday and will sample the first of those this afternoon/evening during the game.

Yum, I love beer!

Found bottles of Hopslam at a small beer store on the way back to friends house after helping them move. unfortunately, it was the same batch that I had at home that was underhopped IMO. I'm still looking for a different batch to try.

I have been unable to find any this year in my area (every place that has had any has sold out in record time I am told) but got an email from one of my favorite local bars letting me know they are tapping a keg of it at 11:30 on Saturday morning!! :ban::tank::mug::rockin:
