I scorched my steeping grains by letting them sit on the bottom of the kettle... I think it was a moderate scortching. Also the end beer is an Imperial IPA with a total of 9 ounces of hops in the kettle and 6 ounces in the dry hop when the fermentation gets there. Two questions... will the moderate scortching impart much flavor or will the hops over power it? Second, I did my best trying to filter out the hop and moderate scorched particles but was unsuccessful due to the sheer amount of hops. What do people do in this situation? Any help is appreciated.

Taste it, and see how scorched it tastes. That's really the only way to tell. If it's not too bad, try to drink it. The scorch flavor won't get any better or go away with aging, though.
